KENT&CURWEN aims to capture the subversion and eccentricity of great British style: a spirit of dressing that can be adopted by a global community.
The pioneer of British Prep: the brand began with the club tie and cricket sweater: symbols of the establishment, of a society that always beckoned to be questioned, even rebelled against.
This SS25 season, there is a focus on a familiar period of transition —the shift from school into university or work. A coming of age: exciting and unnerving in equal measure.

Traditional British staples like the trench coat and rugby shirts have been reworked and elevated. Drawing from the punk movement, they are worn with the come-as-you-are spirit of the British eccentric. Trousers are blown out to wrap the body, pleated skirts are designed to reveal the boxer shorts beneath, and patterned scarves frame jackets and shirting. Country furnishing fabrics are mixed with a touch of an English country garden.

The KENT&CURWEN founding product – the club tie reappears throughout: worn traditionally, tied at the waist, and transformed into a dress. The rose emblem, stitched in fabric, leather, or crochet, is spread across the collection as a tactile reminder of our heritage. A castle motif, taken from a design in the archives, reappears throughout the collection. It is a symbol of our house and heritage, representative of coming of age: an act of becoming the ‘king of one’s own castle.’
Classic school satchels and book holders are presented in more modern iterations, alongside backless house slippers, Mary Janes, and leather loafers, lined in red: a nod to the red socks of our founder, Eric Kent.
